Video sent to PMO office

Impressed by Rampal's words, Rekha Sharma immediately recorded a video and sent it to the Prime Minister's Office (PMO). The effect of this sensitive initiative was that just a day before Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Haryana, Rampal Kashyap himself received a call from the PMO at 5 pm on Sunday. He was informed over the phone that the Prime Minister wanted to meet him.

PM Modi expresses gratitude

The meeting took place on Monday during the birth anniversary of Baba Saheb and Prime Minister Modi's visit to Haryana. The Prime Minister appreciated the resolve and dedication of Rampal Kashyap. Rampal Kashyap expressed special gratitude to MP Rekha Sharma for this meeting. He also thanked Ashok Gurjar, former BJP district president of Kaithal district, whose support made this meeting possible.

Who is Rampal?

Rampal Kashyap is a resident of Kaithal in Haryana. Rampal had vowed for the last 14 years that he would live barefoot until the BJP government was formed in the country and Narendra Modi became the Prime Minister. However, Rampal finally met PM Modi on Monday. During this, PM Modi put shoes on Kaithal's feet. During this, the PM said that one should not give grief to oneself by doing so.
