"We had divided Doda into three zones to conduct mock drills and check our preparedness to deal with emergencies. He thanked the public, shopkeepers and tourists for their cooperation and assured them that there is no need to panic.

"We are very happy that shopkeepers, public and tourists cooperated with us. People don't need to be afraid of circumstances. The police are there for them and with them. If any discrepancies arise we will ensure to help the public. Recently, an ex-serviceman was shot dead by militants in Behibagh area of south Kashmir's Kulgam district.
