BJP wins Delhi: Shinde credits 'Modi's Guarantee' for victory

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) won 48 seats in the Delhi Assembly elections, while the Aam Aadmi Party was reduced to just 22 seats. In this election, once again Congress did not even open its account. Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister and Shiv Sena chief Eknath Shinde on Saturday expressed happiness over the BJP's landslide victory.

Many people give assurances but do not keep them. Delhi is the capital of our country, where the Bharatiya Janata Party and the NDA alliance has won. "

He said Arvind Kejriwal had fought with Anna Hazare against corruption but later he forgot about it. Those who were with him, like Kumar Vishwas and Yogendra Yadav, also left the party. The anti-corruption journey started but Kejriwal himself got embroiled in corruption. The voters of Delhi have expressed faith in PM Modi, due to which the BJP government was formed here after 27 years. Now the 'double engine government' will work and the condition of Delhi will change.

Shinde attacked the Congress and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) for spreading a "fake narrative". He said that both the parties talked about the Constitution and democracy, made allegations on EVMs, but the people showed them their place. The Congress contested three times and got zero seats all three times. His journey was from zero to zero. So, now he has no moral right to level allegations because PM Modi is taking the country forward and now no one can stop the government from becoming an economic superpower," he said.
