With the Aam Aadmi Party's decade-long governance in the national capital coming to a close, former chief minister and national convener of the party, Arvind Kejriwal, acknowledged the election results and congratulated the BJP on their win, while also urging them to deliver on their campaign promises.

The ex-chief minister also emphasized the efforts made by the AAP in health, education, and infrastructure over the past ten years, and assured that his party would take on a 'constructive role' in the opposition while serving the public.

The Bharatiya Janata Party is set to establish the government in Delhi after a gap of 27 years. As per the most recent update from the Election Commission of India (ECI), the BJP is ahead in 47 seats, having secured victory in 15 and leading in 32. The AAP, on the other hand, is leading in 23 seats, with 11 wins and leading in 12.

For the third consecutive time, the Congress has failed to secure any seats in the Delhi elections. The BJP has emerged victorious in eight constituencies in the Delhi election results - Shalimar Bagh, Rajouri Garden, Tri Nagar, Rajinder Nagar, Sangam Vihar, Greater Kailash, Patparganj, and Gandhi Nagar.

BJP members and supporters have begun festivities outside the party headquarters in New Delhi, anticipating a comeback to power in the national capital after a prolonged period. Party members were observed lighting firecrackers, dancing, and singing at the headquarters.
