Ludhiana court issues Arrest warrant for Sonu Sood in fraud case
A court in Punjab has ordered the arrest of Bollywood actor Sonu Sood to an alleged fraud case. The warrant was issued by Ludhiana Judicial Magistrate Ramanpreet Kaur. The case pertains to an alleged Rs 10 lakh fraud, lodged by Ludhiana-based attorney Rajesh Khanna against Mohit Shukla, in which Khanna asserted that he was enticed into investing in a counterfeit Rijika coin. Sonu Sood was called to court to give testimony but did not show up, resulting in an arrest warrant being issued.
The Ludhiana court has instructed the Officer In-Charge of Oshiwara Police Station in Andheri West, Mumbai, to apprehend Sonu Sood.
