PM Modi highlights success of 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas'
Government committed to 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas'
New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday said his government is committed to 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas' in the Rajya Sabha. Apart from this, PM Modi targeted the Congress and said that 'Family First' was paramount in the Congress model.
PM Modi said that the President had made the world aware of India's achievements, that India's common human self-confidence, resolve of a developed India were discussed in detail. He also showed a new direction to the country. The President's Address was inspiring and effective and a guide for the future for all of us. Members of Parliament, both from the treasury benches and the opposition, expressed their views on the President's address.
PM Modi further said, "I do not understand why people are getting upset over this. This is everyone's shared responsibility and that's what the people of India have elected us for. However, it would be a big mistake to expect the Congress to understand this slogan and act on it. He said that 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas' is the responsibility of all of us. That is why the country has given all of us an opportunity to sit here. Accusing the Congress of nepotism, PM Modi said that in the Congress model, giving priority to the family is a matter of concern. "We are working under 'Nation First'.
"We have tried to ensure that India's resources are used to the maximum. We have adopted a saturation approach. We have tried to ensure that schemes reach beneficiaries without any glitches," he said. In the last decade, we have worked with the motto of 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas' and it has yielded results.
