Mahatma Gandhi's Death Anniversary

Congress Jammu and Kashmir president Tariq Hamid Karra sharply criticised the government on Mahatma Gandhi's death anniversary and accused them of promoting a hate agenda and not condemning the killing of Nathuram Godse. "First of all, I would say that this was not just the murder of a man, it was the murder of humanity on January 31, 1948. He further emphasized, "It is not only our political duty, but also our human duty to respect such personalities, keep that ideology alive, so that more and more youth are inspired to follow that ideology."

Tariq Hamid Karra's Allegations

Karra also hit out at the government alliance for failing to condemn Godse's actions. "We have to train our workers, especially the youth, so that they not only take Gandhian and Nehruvian philosophy and ideology to the battlefield but also the ideologues of those who have fuelled the market of hatred, whether it is Golwalkar ji or Savarkar ji," he said. Or Nathuram Godse. "When Nathuram Godse martyred Mahatma Gandhi in 1948, has he condemned Nathuram Godse's act till date? And if they didn't, why didn't they do it? On one hand, you call him the Father of the Nation, and on the other, you worship that person (Godse). Turning to economic and foreign policy, Karra criticized the government's failures. "Their economic policy has failed, their foreign policy has failed, and their GDP growth is lagging.

17 Crore Muslims In Minority

Karra also addressed the ongoing debate on the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) and the Waqf amendment, arguing that these measures are products of the hate agenda. "These are all the consequences of an agenda of hate, which they want to keep free of all over the country," he said. "If you look at it from one side, look at what is happening with the Dalit society, not only with Muslims, as a minority... Strangely, they say Hindus are in danger. "On the one hand, you say there are 17 crore Muslims in the minority, but in a country of 140 crore, when you say that the minority is a threat to the majority, it shows not only your weaknesses but also your nefarious intentions," Karra concluded. He described the policies of the government as the result of the nefarious intention that was prepared by his ancestors 70-75 years ago, exactly 100 years ago, and today they believe that if not now, then never.
