Snowfall hits Sonamarg, cold wave to continue in Kashmir

In Jammu and Kashmir, there is severe cold in many areas, while some hilly areas are also experiencing snowfall. There was snowfall in many mountainous areas including Sonamarg in Jammu and Kashmir. Traffic has come to a standstill due to snowfall. The work of clearing snow on the roads from Sonamarg to Ranga Morh is going on.

Snowfall Predictions For Today

In Jammu and Kashmir, cold wave conditions prevailed in the plains and snowfall in the state's higher reaches. The Met department has predicted snowfall in some hilly areas today as well. The people of the valley will not get relief from the cold as of now.

Cold weather will Remain Till February 4

The weather had cleared in Jammu and Kashmir a few days ago. Due to the sunshine, there was also an increase in the temperature, but once again the weather of Jammu and Kashmir has changed. According to the Meteorological Department, the weather pattern may remain the same till February 4. There may be snowfall in the hilly areas and there is a possibility of rain in the plains.
