Eastern India is the growth engine of country: PM Narendra Modi
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday said he cannot accept the export of raw materials and import of finished products into the country. At the same time, he stressed that value addition should be done in the country. Inaugurating the "Utkarsh Odisha, Make in Odisha Conclave" in Bhubaneswar, PM Modi said that he considers East India as the engine of the country's growth and the state plays an important role in it. He said that the development of the country is not possible only by exporting raw materials. So we are changing the whole environment and working with a new approach.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said minerals are extracted here and exported to other countries where they are added and new products are made. These finished products are then sent back to India. This is not acceptable to PM Modi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the aspirations of crores of people are taking India forward on the path of development. Today, India is moving forward on the path of development, inspired by the aspirations of crores of people.
