Amrit Udyan Welcomes Visitors: Open Until March 30, Closed on Mondays
The Rashtrapati Bhavan announced on Tuesday that its renowned 'Amrit Udyan' will be open for public viewing from February 2 to March 30.
The garden welcomes visitors six days a week from 10 am to 6 pm, but it is closed on Mondays for maintenance. Additionally, the garden will be closed on February 5, February 20-21, and March 14. Amrit Udyan will not be accessible on these dates either.
Access to the gardens will be through Gate No. 35 of the President's Estate, situated near the intersection of North Avenue and Rashtrapati Bhavan.
For convenience, the shuttle bus will run from Central Secretariat Metro Station to Gate No. 35 every half hour between 9:30 am and 6:00 pm. Certain days are designated for particular groups.
March 26 is designated for individuals with disabilities, and March 27 is allocated for defense, paramilitary, and police force personnel. March 28 is designated for women and members of tribal women self-help groups, whereas March 29 is allocated for senior citizens.
Admission to Amrit Udyan is free, and reservations can be made on the official Rashtrapati Bhavan website. Visitors are encouraged to engage as well. The Diversity Ka Amrit Mahotsav will be held at Rashtrapati Bhavan from March 6 to 9, 2025, as part of the Amrit Udyan festival.This cultural event will showcase the rich heritage and traditions of South India, offering a unique experience of its unmatched diversity.
