DDA Introduces 3 Housing Schemes in Delhi, Booking Starts Soon
The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has launched three special housing schemes for those dreaming of owning their own home in Delhi. These schemes have been implemented based on 'first come, first served' scheme. The registration process for this scheme has already started and the booking will start from 15th January 2025.
DDA's New Schemes
The DDA has introduced three new schemes in 2025. A total of 8,389 flats have been made available under these schemes. The flats are located in Narela, Siraspur, Lok Nayak Puram, Vasant Kunj, Jahangirpuri, East of Loni, Jafrabad and Rohini. Bookings will be open from January 15 to March 31.
What is Shramik Housing Scheme?
The scheme is for workers registered with the Delhi Building and Workers Welfare Board. They will be provided low-cost flats in Narela on a first-come, first-served basis. The flat is priced between Rs 8.08 lakh and Rs 8.86 lakh with registration fee of Rs 2,500 and booking amount of Rs 50,000.
What is Sabka Ghar Housing Scheme?
Under this scheme, up to 25% discount will be available on EWS, LIG, MIG and HIG flats in Siraspur, Narela, and Loknayak Puram. These exemptions are being given for disadvantaged sections such as autorickshaw and cab drivers, women, ex-servicemen, disabled, SC and ST category. A total of 6,810 EWS and LIG flats and 769 HIG and MIG flats are covered in this scheme. The booking amount has been kept at Rs 50,000 for EWS, Rs 1 lakh for LIG, Rs 4 lakh for MIG, and Rs 10 lakh for HIG.
How to take advantage of this scheme?
The booking process to join these schemes will start from January 15 and will continue till March 31, 2025. Applicants can avail the benefits of these schemes by online registration and payment. But keep in mind that payments made during booking, such as registration fee and booking amount, will not be refunded in case the flat is not allotted. So read all the terms and conditions carefully before applying.
