Namo Drone Didi Scheme Empowers Women, Says Madhya Pradesh CM
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav inaugurates drone training centre in Indore on Sunday. This training center has started in a joint venture of Madhya Pradesh Flying Club and Kasturba Gram Trust. Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said that drone technology has been promoted in the country due to the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Schemes like 'NaMo Drone Didi' have helped in empowering women. He said India is taking a lead in adopting innovative technologies.
Better Use of Drone Technology
In today's time, there are many other areas where drone technology is being used better, ranging from spraying medicine in the fields. The Chief Minister asked Milind Mahajan of Madhya Pradesh Flying Club to prepare a master trainer for the entire Madhya Pradesh. The science and technology department of the state will coordinate in this direction. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav also flew a drone during the programme.
Numerous Leaders Attended the Event
While flying the drone, the Chief Minister symbolically showed that Madhya Pradesh is also taking a new flight of development in the same way. He said that this drone technology will prove helpful in the management of Madhya Pradesh's vast geographical area and forest wealth. Water Resources Minister Tulsiram Silawat, Mayor Pushyamitra Bhargava, MLAs Madhu Verma and Ramesh Mendola, Karunakar Trivedi of Kasturba Gram Trust were also present on the occasion. The Chief Minister and guests were welcomed by Milind Mahajan and Mukesh Hajela.
