Kamya Karthikeyan, a class 12 student of Mumbai's Navy Children's School, has created history by becoming the youngest in the world to climb the highest peaks of seven continents.

The 17-year-old adventurer has climbed across Africa (Mount Kilimanjaro), Europe (Mount Elbrus), Australia (Mount Kosciuszko), South America (Mount Aconcagua), North America (Mount Denali), Asia (Mount Everest) and completed the current climb in Antarctica.

The Indian Navy said that the young Everester along with her father Commander S Karthikeyan reached the peak of Mount Vincent Antarctica at 1720 hrs on December 24 and completed the Seven Summits Challenge.

The Indian Navy congratulated Kamya Karthikeyan and her father on achieving this significant milestone. On its official handle on X, SpokespersonNavy posted that @IN_NCS Kamya Karthikeyan, a Class 12 student from Mumbai, has created history by becoming the youngest woman in the world to climb the seven highest peaks of seven continents.

When Kamya Karthikeyan climbed Mount Everest, she was sixteen years old. He said that when he did his first trek in Uttarakhand, he was 7 years old.
