NaMo Bharat trains are operational on a section of the Delhi-Meerut RRTS corridor, running between Meerut South and Sahibabad. The route will soon extend to connect with the New Ashok Nagar Metro Station in Delhi.

Under the 'Loyalty Points Programme' launched by the National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC), NaMo Bharat train passengers will get a 10 percent discount on ticket purchases made via the 'RRTS Connect' app.

The NCRTC Managing Director, Shalabh Goel, inaugurated it at the Sahibabad Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) station. He also introduced the inaugural issue of the bi-monthly passenger news magazine 'NaMo Bharat Times'.

Points to be Given on the Cost of the Ticket

As part of the loyalty points program, travelers will receive one point for each rupee spent on a NaMo Bharat train ticket.Each loyalty point will have a value of 10 paise and will be added to the passenger's account. These points can be utilized when buying tickets.

Digital tickets will simplify travel

According to the National Capital Region Transport Corporation, the initiative will provide financial benefits to commuters. Additionally, the 'RRTS Connect' app will encourage the use of digital QR tickets, facilitating easier travel with paperless ticketing.

Get 50 rupees on Downloading the App

Upon downloading the RRTS Connect app, the user will receive Rs 50, which is equal to 500 loyalty points. If they refer a new user to the RRTS Connect app, they can earn an additional 500 loyalty points. Additionally, loyalty points will remain valid for a year from the date they are received. This policy aims to promote ongoing travel and consistent use of the app.
