RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat has called for unity and harmony in the country, stressing that divisive issues should not be raised to create enmity, as he also highlighted the importance of the Ram temple in Ayodhya as a symbol of Hindu devotion. However, he warned against creating divisions. "But hatred and hostility should not be raised new issues every day. What's the solution here? We should show the world that we can live in harmony, so we should experiment a little in our country.

Speaking at the inauguration of the Hindu Seva Mahotsav in Pune on Thursday, Bhagwat said, "Coming to the question of devotion. There should be a Ram temple there, and that has actually happened. It is a place of devotion for Hindus. Highlighting the diverse culture of India, Bhagwat said, "There are ideologies of different sects and communities in our country. Describing Hinduism as an eternal religion, Bhagwat said the acharyas of this eternal and eternal religion follow the "Seva Dharma" or the religion of humanity.

Essence of Sanatan Dharma

Addressing the audience, he described service as the essence of Sanatan Dharma, transcending religious and social boundaries. He urged people to embrace service not for recognition but for the pure desire to give something to society. The Hindu Seva Mahotsav, organized by Hindu Spiritual Seva Sanstha, is being held at the College Ground of Shikshan Prasarak Mandali and will continue till December 22. The festival showcases information about Hindu culture and rituals, as well as various social service works performed by temples, religious organizations, and monasteries across Maharashtra. Bhagwat emphasized that service should be done humbly without any desire for publicity. Advocating a balanced approach, he emphasized the need to adopt the service according to the needs of the country and the times.

Importance of Earning a Living

Acknowledging the importance of earning a living, he reminded people always to give something to society through service works. According to Bhagwat, human duty is to serve the world and initiatives like the Hindu Seva Mahotsav inspire the younger generation to follow the path of selfless service. During the celebrations, Swami Govind Dev Giri Maharaj spoke about the deep connection between service, land, society and tradition. He cited historical examples such as Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and Rajmata Jijau, who gave examples of selfless service. He defined charity as sharing one's blessings with others without seeking gratitude.
