Gurugram Police apprehended a man named Sachin on Tuesday as he was attempting to hurl a cotton bomb. Earlier today, two cotton bombs were hurled outside clubs in Sector-29, Gurugram. Initial investigations indicated that Sachin was under the influence of alcohol during the incident. According to the Gurugram Police, 'The accused was intoxicated. He had already thrown two cotton bombs and was preparing to throw two more when the police intervened and apprehended him along with the bombs.'
Vikas Arora, IPS, the Commissioner of Police in Gurugram, personally examined the site. Following his directives, the Gurugram Police bomb disposal squad was summoned to assess and secure the location. The police stated, 'Two live cotton bombs found in the possession of the suspect were defused by the bomb disposal team.'
The event resulted in slight damage to a scooter and a signboard. There were no reports of injuries or casualties. The Gurugram Police are still investigating to uncover the reason behind the incident.
