Kejriwal Slams Amit Shah Over Rising Bomb Threats in Delhi

New Delhi: After bomb threats were received in several schools in Delhi on Monday, Aam Aadmi Party national convenor Arvind Kejriwal hit out at Union Home Minister Amit Shah over the security situation in the national capital and said people want to know what measures are being taken for the safety of people.

Stating that it is his duty to provide security to the people of the national capital, the former chief minister asked Amit Shah if anyone has been arrested till date. Speaking to the media on Monday, Kejriwal highlighted that several bomb threats have been received this year at schools, hospitals, colleges, shopping malls and airports.

"The people of Delhi had never seen such an incident before. On May 1, more than 200 schools received bomb threat emails, after which the schools were evacuated. What effect does such bullying have on children's mental state? On May 12, eight hospitals and airports received bomb threats, on May 24, several colleges of Delhi University received bomb threats.

On October 20, there was a blast in Rohini and on November 28, there was a blast in Prashant Vihar. "Amit Shah ji, the people of Delhi want to know from you what is being done for security in Delhi. Security is your responsibility and you have to fulfill it. Amit Shah should tell if anyone has been arrested till date. "
