New Delhi: More than 40 schools in the national capital received bomb threats via e-mails and a ransom demand of USD 30,000, police said today. The threat mail read, "I have planted several bombs (lead azide, explosive compound used in detonators) inside the building. I have planted several bombs inside the building. The bombs are small and very well hidden. This will not cause much damage to the building, but many people will be injured if the bomb explodes. You all have to endure suffering and lose your limbs. If I don't get $30,000, I'll explode the bomb. "
