Delhi's average Air Quality Index (AQI) fell to the 'poor' category on Saturday, recorded at 219 by the Central Pollution Control Board at 8 am. On Thursday, the Supreme Court permitted the Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) to ease GRAP stage IV restrictions in Delhi-NCR to GRAP stage II due to improvements in the Air Quality Index (AQI).


Just hours after the Supreme Court allowed the easing of GRAP Stage IV restrictions in Delhi-NCR to GRAP Stage II, the Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) lifted Stages IV and III of GRAP in the area. However, GRAP Stages II and I will still be enforced throughout the entire NCR.
