On Wednesday, INDIA bloc MPs protested near Makar Dwar within the Parliament premises for the second consecutive day regarding the Adani indictment.

The protesting MPs chanted slogans and displayed banners demanding a Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) investigation into the Adani indictment.

Meanwhile, Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi, Congress Wayanad MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, and several other opposition MPs planned to visit violence-affected Sambhal.

However, police officials halted them at the Ghazipur border on the Delhi-Meerut Expressway.

Earlier today, Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi submitted an adjournment motion notice in the lower house, requesting a debate on the Adani issue.

The notice demanded an urgent discussion on the 'silence' of the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) amid serious accusations against the Adani Group.

who has been accused of bribery and securities fraud by the US Department of Justice (DoJ) and the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

The Lok Sabha Secretariat urged House members yesterday to refrain from staging protests or demonstrations in front of the Parliament gates, as it significantly obstructs the movement of Members to the Parliament Chambers during House sessions.

Yesterday, Parliament was the scene of intense drama as leaders of the INDIA bloc held a protest within the premises, calling for a debate on the Adani indictment.

Opposition MPs, led by Congress, exited the lower house in protest against Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan's response to the Minimum Support Price (MSP) issue.

Since the start of the Winter Session, Parliament proceedings have been disrupted due to opposition parties' protests over the Adani issue and the violence in Manipur and Sambhal.

On Monday, both the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha were adjourned until noon and then for the remainder of the day.

The Winter Session of Parliament began on November 25 and is scheduled to continue until December 20.
