The largest income tax raid in the history of India was conducted in Odisha, which lasted for 10 days. In this raid, the Income Tax officials raided several departments of liquor company Boudh Distilleries Private Limited. During this, a huge amount of Rs 352 crore was recovered.

During the raids, the I-T department not only used a scanning wheel machine to identify valuables buried under the ground, but 36 new machines were also arranged for this operation so that the notes could be counted.

After receiving such a large amount, the Income Tax Department called employees from different banks for help. It is being told that a large number of employees were needed to count and protect such a large amount.

Let us tell you for information that, the officials of the Income Tax Department were honored. After the raid, the Income Tax Department filled the recovered money in trucks and deposited it in the department's office under tight security.

In August, the central government had felicitated Income Tax Department officials who led the raids, including Principal Director of Income Tax Investigation SK Jha and Additional Director > Gurpreet Singh.
