The message, which claimed the name of Lawrence Bishnoi's brother, said, "If he doesn't do this, we will kill him, our gang is still active." Police said the message came on Monday and they have launched a probe. The Mumbai Police said that the process of registering a case at Worli Police Station is underway and the phone number from which the message has been received is being traced. This is the second death threat received by Salman Khan in a week. Earlier, the Mumbai Police traffic control had demanded a ransom of Rs 2 crore from the actor for receiving a death threat.

"On Tuesday, Mumbai Traffic Police Control received a message from an unknown person who demanded Rs 2 crore. The police further said that the unidentified person has threatened Salman Khan with dire consequences if he does not pay the money. The traffic police reported the matter to the Worli police, who registered a crime in the matter and started searching for the sender.
Mumbai Police Registered a Case
A case was registered against an unidentified person at Worli police station in Mumbai after receiving the threat message. Earlier on October 24, Mumbai Police arrested a man from Jamshedpur who threatened Bollywood actor Salman Khan in the name of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi and demanded a ransom of Rs 5 crore.

According to the Mumbai Police, after receiving a threat message, the Mumbai Traffic Police have registered a case against an unidentified person and started investigation. Earlier on October 21, Mumbai Police received an apology from the same sender who had threatened Khan on October 18, stating that the message was "sent by mistake." "
The initial threat message was sent to the control room number of the Mumbai traffic police on October 18. The incident took place in the backdrop of the recent murder of NCP leader Baba Siddiqui.
