Mukhyamantri Sehat Yojana: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann today formally inaugurated the Chief Minister’s Sehat Yojana at Vikas Bhawan in Mohali. Aam Aadmi Party National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal was also present at the event. The scheme is aimed at ensuring improved and accessible healthcare for the people of the state, so that no one is deprived of treatment due to lack of facilities.

3. Available in over 900 hospitals: Treatment can be availed in more than 900 hospitals including government and listed private hospitals.

4. Free treatment for many serious diseases: More than 23 diseases ranging from knee surgery to cancer will be treated free of cost.

5. Entire treatment at government expense: The government will bear all the expenses from hospitalization till complete recovery and return home.

6. Medicines are also available free of cost: All necessary medicines during treatment will also be arranged by the government.
