The attack took place under the cover of darkness, seemingly intended to catch Indian soldiers off guard.

India Pakistan Ceasefire News: Tensions likely to escalate
Following the ceasefire violation, tensions have escalated along the Line of Control. The armies of both countries are now on high alert. However, the Indian Army has maintained that the situation is completely under control and that no laxity is being shown in border security.
Ind-Pak News: Pakistan’s growing uneasiness
At the same time, Pakistan has abruptly shut down several air routes across its central and southern regions. The decision coincides with India’s upcoming tri-services exercise, Trishul, scheduled near the border. Although Islamabad has not provided an official explanation for the airspace restriction on October 28 and 29, security experts suggest it could be linked to potential military operations or weapon testing activities.
India prepares for ‘Trishul’ military exercise
India has already announced a large-scale tri-services military exercise near the Sir Creek area from October 30 to November 10. The exercise will involve joint participation of the Army, Navy, and Air Force. The aim of this exercise is to strengthen border security and strategic coordination.
Border tensions have increased since Operation Sindoor
Since Operation Sindoor, instances of cross-border activity between India and Pakistan have gradually risen. Both nations frequently release NOTAMs (Notices to Airmen) announcing military drills close to the border areas. While these notices sometimes heighten tension, such exercises have largely become a routine aspect of operations along the frontier.
