Anant Singh News: Former Mokama MLA Anant Singh has been arrested in connection with the Dularchand Yadav murder case and has faced a major setback. The court has ordered him to be placed in judicial custody for 14 days. After his arrest, Anant Singh and the other accused were given medical examinations at the DIU cell before being presented before a magistrate at the Patna Civil Court.

The murder took place in the Mokama Assembly constituency, one of the 14 constituencies in Patna district. The Mokama region has long been known as an area dominated by strongmen.
