AAP Padyatra in UP: After a long spell in Uttar Pradesh’s political landscape, a moment has arrived when a street march is no longer just a show of protest — it has become a symbol of public hope. The Aam Aadmi Party has declared a historic 180-kilometer yatra, stretching from Saryu to Sangam, scheduled from November 12 to 24. Titled “Rozgaar Do, Samajik Nyay Do” (Give Employment, Give Social Justice), the march will be led by Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh — the same leader who has consistently raised the voice of Uttar Pradesh’s people, both inside Parliament and out on the streets.

This march will move forward not merely on weary feet, but on the strength of people’s pain, anger, and expectations. From unemployed youth and struggling farmers seeking fair crop prices to small-scale industry workers, teachers, ASHA and Anganwadi workers — everyone today is demanding accountability from the government. And when those in power choose silence, the people’s voice finds its way to the streets. That, in itself, is the real force behind this movement.
AAP Padyatra in UP: What did Sanjay Singh say?
Sanjay Singh has clearly stated that this yatra is not a political ritual, but a fight for the rights of the people. The BJP government made lofty promises in the name of employment, but today Uttar Pradesh has become the largest capital of the unemployed. Government recruitment is stalled, exams are delayed, and paper leaks have robbed millions of youth of their future. Farmers are struggling to get the right price for their produce, sugarcane farmers’ payments are pending for months, and small industries have shut down, leaving laborers without food. The government has thousands of crores for advertisements, but no answers for employment and farmers.
To break this silence, the Aam Aadmi Party is taking to the streets. This 180-kilometer yatra will begin from the Saryu River in Ayodhya and end at the Sangam in Prayagraj. Along the way, there will be dialogue with the public in villages, towns, cities, and neighborhoods. People will express their desire for employment, justice, and a secure future. The yatra will include youth, farmers, teachers, social workers, and people from all walks of life. This movement will be built on public participation, not by the grace of power.
AAP Padyatra in UP: Theme Song of the march
The theme song of this march, “Main Desh Bachane Nikal Hoon,” is already making waves. The voice of renowned singer Altamash Faridi and the lyrics of Bilal Bhai give it an emotional identity. This song is not just music, but a message that speaks to the hearts of youth, laborers, and farmers.
Sanjay Singh’s image is that of a leader who cannot be bought, intimidated, or silenced. He exposed scams in Parliament, spoke out against paper leaks, fought for farmers, and repeatedly held the government accountable. Therefore, this march is not just a political challenge to the BJP government, but a public chargesheet addressing the public’s questions.
This march from Saryu to Sangam will remind Uttar Pradesh that power belongs to the people, not the people to the government. When the government fails to respond, the streets become a platform for justice. And this time, the public is not silent; they are walking together. This is the beginning, and the beginning always begins on the streets.
