The trailer for the forthcoming film 'Emergency' starring Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut has been unveiled. The film sheds light on the political issues of 1975. It is particularly noteworthy because Kangana herself directed it.

In addition to this, she has also authored the film's story. Besides Kangana, the movie trailer showcases several notable actors including Anupam Kher. The trailer provides a glimpse of all the stars, with each actor shining in their individual roles.

Regarding the film's trailer, it begins with Anupam Kher portraying Jayaprakash Narayan, who is seen writing a letter to the Prime Minister of that time from his prison cell. After this scene, Kangana Ranaut enters the role of Mrs. Indira Gandhi, the first woman Prime Minister of the country.

The actress is sitting in the PMO office in her character, where her first dialogue is heard. She declares, 'I am the cabinet,' followed by scenes of gunfire and police confrontations in the trailer. Meanwhile, the 1971 war is announced, and visuals of the conflict between the enemy and the Indian Army are displayed. Simultaneously, actor Milind Soman appears as Sam Manekshaw in this scene.

The trailer concludes with the phrase 'Indira is India'. In addition, Mahima Chaudhary will portray cultural activist and writer Pupul Jayakar, Milind Soman will play Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw, Vishak Nair will take on the role of Sanjay Gandhi, and the late actor Satish Kaushik will be seen as politician Jagjivan Ram.

It is to be noted that the release date of Kangana Ranaut's film has been delayed multiple times, and after four postponements, the trailer for the film has now been unveiled. The film is set to be released on January 17, 2025. It will portray democracy, freedom, and the Indian Constitution.
