Disha Patani's Father Scammed of Rs 25 Lakh in Government Job Fraud

Bollywood actress Disha Patani's father has been a victim of a big fraud. Jagdish Singh Patni, the father of the actress, was promised a high-ranking position in a government commission by a group of five. In this connection, he cheated the actress's father of Rs 25 lakh. An FIR has been registered at Bareilly Kotwali police station on November 15 in connection with the cheating case of retired Deputy SP Jagdish Singh Patani.

Jagdish Patni said in the complaint that Shivendra Pratap Singh introduced him to people named Diwakar Garg and Acharya Jaiprakash. The accused had claimed that they had strong political relations and would get Jagdish Patani a position of chairman, vice-chairman or any other strong position in the government commission. With this promise, the accused had taken Rs 25 lakh from Patni.

Rs 5 lakh cash and Rs 20 Lakh were Transferred to Account

Jagdish Patni has said that the accused have transferred Rs 5 lakh cash and 20 lakh to three different bank accounts. The accused had promised to return the money if work was not done for three months, he said. But when Patani demanded the money back from them, they started threatening.

Extortion Case Registered

"A case of cheating, criminal intimidation and extortion has been registered against Shivendra Pratap Singh, Diwakar Garg, Juna Akhara Acharya Jai Prakash, Preeti Garg and an unidentified person. Efforts are on to arrest the accused and take strict action."
