Relic Entertainment has officially launched the ‘Dare & Destroy’ Battlegroup DLC for Company of Heroes 3, now available on Steam. This new content pack introduces four distinct Battlegroups, one for each of the game’s factions, alongside new cosmetic items. The release coincides with a free 2.4.0 game update for all Company of Heroes 3 players, which brings essential balance adjustments and gameplay enhancements to the popular real-time strategy title.
The ‘Dare & Destroy’ DLC is designed to significantly expand the Multiplayer and Co-Op/Skirmish vs. A.I. gameplay experiences. It offers commanders powerful new units, elite forces, specialized vehicles, and a variety of fresh tactical approaches, allowing for deeper strategic play and increased replayability.
New Battlegroups Introduced
Each of the four new Battlegroups introduces unique strategic possibilities and gameplay dynamics. The US Forces gain the Free French Battlegroup, which emphasizes robust defenses and strategic stalling tactics. This allows players to fortify positions and wear down enemy advances through resilient gameplay.
The Wehrmacht receives the Siege Breaker Battlegroup, a formidable addition specializing in dismantling enemy fortifications with powerful siegeworks and specialized assault units. This Battlegroup is ideal for players who prefer aggressive, direct assaults on entrenched enemy positions.
Elite Forces and Tactical Options
The British Forces are bolstered by the Special Service Battlegroup. This Battlegroup deploys elite raiding forces designed for resource denial and harassment, enabling players to disrupt enemy supply lines and maintain map control through agile strikes.
Finally, the Deutsches Afrikakorps benefits from the Elite Forces Battlegroup.
