Women’s Day: Today, we are all celebrating Women’s Day. This day isn’t just about celebrating and congratulating, but about recognising the honour, power, and contributions of women. Women are the most beautiful and powerful creation of this universe. They are life-givers, sustaining life, and giving direction. As a daughter, she brings happiness to the home; as a sister, she bestows affection; as a wife, she becomes a life partner; and as a mother, she nurtures an entire generation. In our Indian culture, women are given a very high place.
We all know from our own experiences that where women are respected, gods reside, no matter what form they take. Nowadays, reels are being made that if you want to elevate your fortune, touch your mother’s feet early in the morning. If you want to progress in life, serve your mother. My three sons and daughters-in-law (who are modern and educated) wake up early in the morning, touch my feet, and have great respect for me.
Not only this, today’s women are advancing in every field. Be it education, science, politics, business, or sports, whether it’s land, air, or water. It’s also crucial that every woman in society receives respect, security, and equal opportunities. When a woman progresses, it’s not just herself who progresses, but the entire family, society, and nation progresses. Therefore, on Women’s Day, we must all pledge to respect every woman.
Let our talents be recognized, and let us build a society where every woman is safe, empowered, and respected. Because women are not just power, they are the greatest force of creation. When we talk about the progress of society and the country, we must remember that the true power of any society and country lies in its women.
If you educate a man, one person is educated, but if you educate a woman, the entire family and future generations are educated. Women are not only life-givers; they are also the power that imparts values and guides society. Women are the most beautiful combination of tolerance, sensitivity, and strength. Women’s Day is not just a day, but a day to remind us that respecting, protecting, and empowering women should be a daily occurrence, as women are not only the strength of the family but also the inspiration of the nation.
Swami Vivekananda, the great man of the nation, said that without improving the status of women, global well-being is impossible. No bird can fly on one wing. Therefore, women must be included in every field. Today, women are eager to grasp the entire sky, and many have achieved many accomplishments. The phrase “Nari tu Narayani” signifies that women are not just human beings, but embodiments of Goddess Lakshmi and Shakti.
The government is doing a lot today towards women’s empowerment. Women in small towns and metropolitan areas are working hard. They know how to work hard on the ground and are capable of flying planes in the sky. From driving auto-rickshaws and cars to driving the metro, they perform their duties diligently at the border and can even adorn the highest position of the country, the President. Today is Women’s Day, a day to salute women’s hard work, and women are setting an example for the entire world by becoming the pride of our country. The truth is that a home is adorned by a homemaker.
Without a homemaker, a home cannot be called a home. A wife embodies the embodiment of sensitive service and dedication. She shouldered the responsibility of caring for every member of the household. She felt sad at the family’s sorrows and strived to solve everyone’s problems. In this way, she forgot herself and began living for others. She paid attention to who needed what at what time and what each person liked, even putting aside her own needs.
Now, along with her domestic responsibilities, she is also at the forefront of establishing her own identity. It is said that a woman has a hundred facets, and now she is emerging from a woman to a queen. Women are considered half the population today, but it is a matter of great regret that in this ultra-modern era, where the place of human emotions is gradually disappearing, a different perception of women is beginning to emerge. However, today she is before us in her most intense form.
Today’s women have stood shoulder to shoulder with men and proved that they are no longer weak. Today, we find women at the forefront in all fields – medicine, politics, science, technology, literature, and art. Simply raising the slogan of women’s empowerment is not enough. Women’s empowerment can only be possible when we give them rights. What kind of empowerment is there without rights? The harsh truth is that only a system to prevent such crimes and punish the perpetrators demonstrates true women’s empowerment and the significance of Women’s Day. A woman is a goddess; she is Durga, Bhavani, Chandi, and we pay our heartfelt tribute to the contribution of women on Women’s Day.
