I respect all religions. I am connected to every community and have the opportunity to speak and listen everywhere, but this time, when I got the chance to listen to and speak at the Ram Katha organized by Morari Bapu and Acharya Lokesh Muni, I felt deep reverence for both these saints. What an example they have set! In today’s era, when the world needs peace, mutual brotherhood, and when social evils are on the rise, there is a need for values, and both these saints are fulfilling these needs together. For the first time, history has been made—or one could call it a social movement—that if the culture and values of our country are to remain alive, it is because of such saints who awaken society and instill values through their discourses from time to time. Today, society needs values, peace, and mutual harmony more than ever.
I have shared many platforms with Acharya Lokesh Muni over the past 20–25 years, and he too is connected with every community. Even during the Corona period, we organized online programs. But for this effort, the dedication he showed over many months—inviting people from every community and organization—was clearly visible at Bharat Mandapam. It was filled to capacity with people from all walks of life and very well organized. The most remarkable thing was that people of all ages were present, and I noticed a significant presence of youth.
Truly, Bapu Ji’s Ram Katha is not limited to temples; it communicates with society, the nation, and all of humanity, because Ram belongs to everyone. Acharya Lokesh Muni Ji, a Jain saint, spreads the message of non-violence, compassion, self-restraint, and peace. He considers religion a means to unite, not divide. According to him, the purpose of religion is to improve human beings and increase brotherhood and morality in society. We all know that listening to and understanding Ram Katha brings peace to the mind and instills good values in families and society. In today’s time, when stress and division are increasing in society, Ram Katha helps connect people. When Morari Bapu narrates it, he touches people’s hearts in simple language and instills the values and dignity of Ram Katha in them. That is why Ram Katha is so necessary today—it provides moral guidance and connects religion with humanity. It is a means of service, spiritual practice, and social reform.
In essence, Ram Katha is the story of life: Morari Bapu spreads love and harmony, while Lokesh Muni Ji conveys peace and non-violence. Their joint organization is a beautiful effort to unite, reform, and strengthen society. Ram Katha teaches us to walk the path of truth, fulfill our duties, live with love and compassion, and maintain dignity and values in all circumstances. That is why Morari Bapu Ji is not only a storyteller but also a messenger of humanity. His simple discourse touches hearts and unites society. The purpose of religion is not to divide but to connect humans with humans. When saints like Morari Bapu Ji and Lokesh Muni Ji come together, such an event transcends religion and becomes a social and humanitarian movement. This movement will especially guide the youth in the right direction.
Ram Katha reminds us that no matter how big the problem, the solution always comes through truth and love. Listening to Ram Katha is virtuous, but implementing Ram’s ideals in life is an even greater virtue. Indeed, Acharya Lokesh Muni Ji has set an example by facilitating Morari Bapu’s discourse. Being part of the Jain community, following the path of non-violence and altruism, I feel that Acharya Lokesh Muni Ji and Morari Bapu have taken a highly commendable step towards world peace. I salute all those who contributed to this event, because saints can organize such a grand event only by the grace of Shri Ram. Truly, saints, you both have done an extraordinary job.
