The biggest question right now is whether former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan is alive or has he truly died. The buzz is so intense that people are unable to believe the denials of his death. The question is also being asked: if he is alive, why is he not being allowed to meet his family or party members? Whatever the truth of the death reports, everyone is assuming that Asim Munir will not let Imran Khan live under any circumstances, because only Imran Khan has the power to defeat Munir.

Imran Khan has been imprisoned in Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi for the past two and a half years. He was sentenced in corruption cases. Currently, he is not allowed to meet his family, despite a court order allowing him to meet. This denial of access to Imran naturally raises suspicions. Recently, on November 26th, an account by the name of Afghanistan Times claimed that Imran Khan had been mysteriously killed in Adiala Jail. The very next day, Imran Khan’s son, Qasim Khan, wrote on X, asking why Imran Khan’s sisters were not allowed to meet him. My brother and I have not been able to contact our father. We have found no evidence of his being alive. This blackout is not a security protocol. Qasim expressed suspicion that something is being hidden. He also requested international organizations to intervene in the matter.

Adiala Jail is stating that Imran is healthy and safe. But the question arises: if he is safe, why were his three sisters, Nureen Khan, Aleema Khan, and Uzma Khan, who came to meet him, beaten by the police? Why were they not allowed to meet Imran Khan? Not only are the family members not allowed to meet him, Imran’s legal team has also been prevented from meeting him. This is why the suspicion of his death is becoming increasingly strong. Even Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi was not allowed to meet Imran by the police. The question arises: why is such strictness being applied to Imran, and at whose behest? It’s obvious that all this is being done at the behest of Asim Munir, Pakistan’s most powerful man. Asim and Imran have a long-standing rivalry, and Asim knows full well that if anyone has the power to challenge his authority, it’s Imran Khan. He may have been imprisoned for two and a half years, but his popularity hasn’t diminished. The Pakistani public believes that if any leader can do good for Pakistan, it’s Imran Khan! Imran’s challenge to American authority enhanced his stature, but unfortunately, he was trapped in such a tight grip that he couldn’t even face America. America began using Army Chief Asim Munir to corner Imran when he was the head of the ISI. As soon as Imran realised this, he removed Munir from the post of ISI chief in just eight months, whereas the tenure was three years.

When Imran Khan was ousted from power in 2022, Munir saw his opportunity. Through the courts, Imran was arrested and imprisoned on various charges. He was initially sentenced to two years in one case, and then to fourteen years in another. This meant that a foolproof system was put in place to ensure that Imran Khan would never be released from prison. Meanwhile, Asim has built himself so powerful that he has virtually become a new dictator. Despite being defeated by India during Operation Sindoor, he was appointed Field Marshal. Now, by amending the Constitution, he has appointed himself Pakistan’s first Chief of Defence Forces for five years, bringing the Navy and Air Force under his control. Munir also has control over the nuclear weapons system.

Munir has also made another move: he has reduced the Supreme Court’s authority to civil and criminal matters only. A Federal Constitutional Court has been established to handle constitutional matters, with appointments to the court being at Munir’s discretion. Two judges have resigned in protest, but what difference does that make to Munir? The judicial system has now become such that Munir will do whatever he wants. It’s almost certain that Munir will not let Imran Khan out of jail alive. Killing politicians has been the nature of the Pakistani Army and ISI. Munir is also on the same path. We can only pray for Imran Khan.
By the way…!

A US Congressional report states that the Pahalgam terrorist attack was not a terrorist attack but an insurgent attack! Such a report should make our blood boil, and we should look America straight in the eye and say, stop this nonsense! This terrorism, good and bad, has destroyed the world. We will not tolerate it anymore.
