The Senior Citizens Kesari Club Model Town branch organized an Alzheimer’s awareness camp under the supervision of branch president Beenu Chauhan. The camp was inaugurated with the Gayatri Mantra, lit by Chairperson Mrs. Kiran Chopra. Following this, Dr. Sandeep Kumar, MD of Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, presented a film projector to protect against life-threatening diseases such as forgetfulness, memory loss, nerve damage, tremors, and bone fractures from sudden falls.
He offered tips to members on improving their memory, including moderate exercise, a balanced diet, and becoming a club champion to foster a joyful life. The chairperson advised seniors on how to stay busy and healthy through engaging programs and games. She welcomed RWA President Dr. J.C. Moona (96) and guests. Beenu Chauhan expressed her gratitude to branch president Manju Lal, Gujranwala Town branch president Sangeeta Nayyar, and Vidu Vij. The program was a success thanks to the contributions of Rekha Grover, Shashi Grover, Ruchi-Veena Gupta, Gulshan, Laxman Dutt, Kapila Mittal, and the Nekia Group. K.C. Khurana, Meenakshi Seth, and Sunita Devgan participated in the volunteer work.
