Inspiring India’s Progress: A Birthday Tribute to PM Narendra Modi
India has carved out a distinct presence internationally today. The nation is led by a forward-thinking leader who is fully committed to the country and its citizens' well-being. On behalf of the people of Haryana, I warmly wish Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi a happy 75th birthday and hope for his ongoing leadership and direction for the country.
It has been almost a year since I served as the Chief Minister of Haryana. I have personally experienced Shri Narendra Modi's unwavering passion for taking the country forward in every field. He has devoted all his energy to establishing India among developed nations. The core of his strategy is "Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas." His unwavering determination and tireless hard work are a source of inspiration for every Indian.
I am proud that Shri Narendra Modi has a special affection for Haryana. A living proof of this is that, in addition to leading the nation for the past 11 years, he has also blessed Haryana with numerous far-reaching and welfare schemes. Inspired by the spirit of Antyodaya, Shri Narendra Modi has taken special care of the poor. His sole goal has been to ensure that benefits reach the last person in line. Shri Modi's public welfare schemes have become the foundation for the state and nation's progress. Owners of houses built on Panchayat land in villages for more than 20 years have been granted significant relief by granting them ownership rights. The "Lakhpati Didi" scheme has empowered millions of women to become self-reliant. The scope of disability pensions has been expanded to thousands of beneficiaries, and financial assistance worth crores of rupees has been provided to laborers.
At the national level, programs like the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, Ujjwala Yojana, Housing Scheme, Crop Insurance Scheme, Skill Development Scheme, Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana, and Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao have empowered every section of the society. Farmers are receiving MSP on 24 notified crops. Digital India and Make in India have paved the way for self-reliance, the Garib Kalyan Yojana has provided security to vulnerable sections, and concrete actions have decisively countered terrorism.
Under the Prime Minister's able leadership, Haryana has also received several historic gifts in other areas, including the launch of the Bima Sakhi Yojana in Panipat, the foundation stone laying of the Maharana Pratap Horticulture University in Karnal at a cost of ₹700 crore, the foundation stone laying of the Rithala-Kundli Metro Corridor at a cost of ₹6,230 crore, the inauguration of the new ESIC Medical College building in Faridabad at a cost of ₹625 crore, and the foundation stone laying of the third unit of the thermal power plant in Yamunanagar at a cost of ₹8,469 crore, which have provided numerous benefits to the people of Haryana. Additionally, the inauguration of the Gobar-Dhan plant in Yamunanagar, the Rewari bypass, and the launch of air services from Hisar Airport have propelled the state to new heights of development.
I am pleased to inform you that special state-wide programs are being organized in Haryana from September 17th to October 2nd, 2025. These events will be organized with public participation and a spirit of public service. Haryana has been fortunate to have the Prime Minister visit the state 16 times since August 2014. It is a testament to his able leadership that he has made uniform development, transcending caste, religion, or regionalism, the fundamental foundation of public welfare.
Today, more than 7.7 million families in the state are receiving the benefits of more than 1,020 schemes from the comfort of their homes, and administrative work is being carried out without hassle. The successful results of the initiative to provide corruption-free and transparent administration to every Haryana resident are before you all. The state government has received full support from the central government and the general public in achieving this goal. I hope that we will continue to receive the able guidance of the Prime Minister so that I can continue to work for the overall welfare of Haryana.
