Uttar Pradesh cracks down on Religious Conversion conspiracies

Published on

Religious conversion leads to significant changes in society, culture, people's actions, behavior, thoughts, and civilization. Old civilizations vanish, making way for new ones. Choosing to believe in a religion is a personal decision. You should adhere to the religion that feels right to you. In India, everyone has the freedom to practice the religion they prefer. Lord Krishna mentioned in chapter-3 that even if one's own religion is weak, it is preferable to adopting another's religion. This implies that just as a tree yields the best fruits in its native soil, a person can achieve true peace and self-satisfaction only in their original religion. Religious conversion conspiracies continue to occur in India. Following the detention of Changur Baba, also known as Jamaluddin, in Uttar Pradesh concerning the alarming issue of widespread religious conversions orchestrated by Islamic extremists, the public is compelled to ponder the situation in the Hindu-majority nation. It's worth noting that religious conversion is not a novel occurrence in the country. The practice began with the arrival of the Mughals, who initiated conversion through the force of arms.

The generations we see today are the result of that conversion. In the conspiracies of conversion, Jihadis see the dream of Ghazwa-e-Hind by the year 2047 and the intention of Jihadis is to make India an Islamic nation. Changur Baba's luxurious mansion worth crores in Madhpur of Balrampur in Uttar Pradesh has turned into rubble. Now there is dust and smoke there. The action of Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh Police is commendable. Because it is necessary to foil the conspiracies of religious conversion. Now, like the peels of an onion, layer by layer, the truth of Changur Baba is coming out that how Jamaluddin got foreign funding of 500 crores in three years. Transactions of 200 crores have been confirmed. While the transaction of 300 crores was done through Nepal. An entire gang was involved in converting people illegally. Hindus were being converted to Islam by calling the beliefs of Hinduism hypocrisy and by offering temptations. Different rates were also fixed for girls of different religions to convert to Islam.

By the way, till now the society was leaving the victim families and daughters to their own devices in the name of love and affection and considering it a very personal matter, but for the first time the common people of the country came to know how deep and terrible this conspiracy is. If this is not understood today, then this fire will reach their homes too and what the Mughals could not do, can be possible in the future. Today itself, the demography of Kashmir, Kerala, Assam, West Bengal, Jharkhand, North-Eastern states has changed. Hindus have become a minority in many states and its effect can be seen from the decisions of the government, the behavior of the society and anti-national incidents.

There is a need to think seriously about love jihad now. Now its truth has also come to the fore. Not only Islamic jihadis but Christian missionaries are also engaged in religious conversion in many states. A few years ago, girls from Kerala came forward and exposed how they were converted by deceit. Educated girls and boys from Kerala had reached Syria to join the dreaded terrorist organization ISIS. Where their life became hell. The surprising thing is that girls who converted from Hindu to Muslim are also involved in the conspiracy of Changur Baba. The Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh has made significant changes to the original anti-conversion law of 2021 last year, making its provisions more stringent and critics say that it can also be misused. Since 2017, many BJP-ruled states have made or amended anti-conversion laws to prohibit conversion through marriage, deceit, coercion or inducement. These measures are clearly aimed at combating “love jihad”—a theory promoted primarily by Hindutva groups that alleges that inter-religious marriages are sites of potential forced conversions.

Anti-conversion law is in force in 12 states of the country. It was because of this law that the bulldozer ran over the empire of Changur Baba worth crores. The game of conversion is also going on from Punjab and other states. Now the time has come for the Hindus and Sikhs of the country to be cautious of anti-national conspiracies. It is the responsibility of society to connect families with religion and culture and to make children aware of good sanskars, religious and moral values. Society should reach out to such people who may be tempted to convert to become financially prosperous. Religious leaders will also have to play their big role in the society.
