Rajnath Singh's Roar Against Terrorism Echoes Worldwide

Published on

Standing on Chinese soil, India's Defence Minister Rajnath Singh not only gave a befitting reply to China and Pakistan, but also roared against terrorism in such a way that its message reached the whole world. China and Pakistan were stunned by Rajnath Singh's roar. By refusing to sign the proposed joint statement of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation meeting in Qingdao, China, the Defence Minister once again proved how tough India's stand is against terrorism. India and Pakistan are full members of the SCO since 2017, which also includes Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Iran and Belarus. By not signing, Rajnath Singh completely foiled the ploy of China and Pakistan.

Today every Indian is proud of Defence Minister Rajnath Singh. The Defence Minister refused to sign because there was no mention of the attack in Pahalgam, while there was a mention of the terrorist incident in Balochistan in Pakistan. India wanted terrorism and related concerns to be clearly included in the joint statement. On this, the Defense Minister took a tough stand. Pakistan and China together were against including the Pahalgam massacre in the statement.

Rajnath Singh bluntly told Pakistan's Defense Minister Khawaja Asif and China's Admiral Dong Jun in the meeting that terrorism and peace cannot go together.

He said, "Some countries make terrorism a weapon of their policy and give shelter to terrorists. There should be no place for such double standards. Rajnath Singh referred to the terrorist attack in Pahalgam on April 22, in which Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Taiba's proxy group The Resistance Front (TRF) shot 26 innocent civilians on the basis of religious identity. India destroyed the terrorist infrastructure across the border through Operation Sindoor on May 7. Singh said, "India follows a zero tolerance policy against terrorism. We have shown that the strongholds of terrorism are no longer safe.”

China and Pakistan were trying to divert attention from the issue of terrorism in the joint statement so that they do not have to stand in the dock. If India had signed this statement, India's side could have been weakened, but Rajnath Singh adopted a cautious approach, showing himself to be a very mature and skilled politician. The people of Pakistan's province Balochistan are fighting for freedom. The rulers of Pakistan started to inflict atrocities on the people of Balochistan as soon as Pakistan was formed, which continues till date. Not only Balochistan, people of Sindh and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir are struggling for freedom. The whole world knows what is the situation of Pakistan.

Pakistan has been making baseless allegations against India on many global forums that India is fuelling the rebellion of the people of Balochistan. Pakistan was trying to target India on the pretext of Balochistan, which India foiled. Due to this, the meeting of the Defense Ministers of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization failed. This is another diplomatic victory of India. China's attitude has once again proved this. It was said that it is standing with the terrorist country Pakistan. China has opposed blacklisting of Pakistan's terrorist commanders in the United Nations Security Council many times.

Even after the Pahalgam attack, the statement of the Chinese Foreign Ministry was very loose. During Operation Sindoor also, China had helped Pakistan but the Indian Army defeated Pakistan, which was proud of Chinese weapons, in 22 minutes. India will have to be cautious about the conspiracies of China and Pakistan in the future. Because the global equations are changing rapidly. Russia, which is embroiled in a war with Ukraine, is now close to China and the attitude of US President Donald Trump is also crazy.
