India's delegates on move for anti terrorism drive
Multi-party delegations of parliamentarians from India have started going abroad to expose Pakistan-sponsored terrorism. In this regard, these delegations will dispel the misconceptions being spread by Pakistan about Operation Sindoor and present India's side to the world. Obviously, these delegations will include MPs from India's major opposition parties and will also lead some. A total of seven delegations are going on a tour to different countries of the world, where they will talk to the governments and parliamentarians of those countries, intellectuals and journalists and also open the black letter of Pakistan's involvement in terrorism. The decision to send these delegations abroad is being supported wholeheartedly in India and is considered as an important step. Senior Congress leader and former Home Minister Shri P. Chidambaram has given full support to this decision and said that this will strengthen India's stand before the world and send a message to the global arena that the whole of India is united on the issue of Pakistani terrorism.
India's internal party politics does not come in the way of putting India's case clearly in foreign countries because the present government at the center may be the 'Modi government' within the country, but it is the 'government of India' abroad and in the matter of terrorism, there is a unity among all the political parties of India. Especially on Pakistan, the opposition parties can not separate from the ruling party's opinion. This is not the first time that India is sending a multi-party political delegation abroad on a burning issue. Earlier, in 1971, when India fought the Bangladesh war with Pakistan, the then Prime Minister Mrs. Indira Gandhi had tried to create global opinion in favor of India by sending many leaders of opposition parties abroad. Among the leaders who were sent abroad were the late Jai Prakash Narayan was also involved. At that time, India was fighting against the barbaric atrocities committed by the Pakistani army on the people in East Pakistan (Bangladesh) and was explaining to the world that the problem of Bangladesh is a humanitarian problem which is related to human rights because at that time about one crore Bangladeshis had come to India to seek refuge. The killing of 26 Indian nationals by terrorists from Pakistan in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir on April 22 is also a blot on human civilization and shows to what extent Pakistan has stooped in spreading terrorism. Therefore, to oppose this, India launched Operation Sindoor against Pakistan-based terrorist bases and gave its command to the army. On May 7, Indian forces destroyed nine terrorist hideouts in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, in which about one hundred terrorists were killed. This operation was completely against terrorism, but the Pakistan Army retaliated by taking military action, to which the brave army of India gave a befitting reply.
Whatever step India has taken against Pak-sponsored terrorism comes under the purview of humanism because the way innocent Indians were killed by terrorists on April 22 was the murder of humanity. For the last thirty years, India has been facing the brunt of Pakistan-sponsored terrorism, but every atrocity has a limit, so the Modi government of India has announced that whenever any Pakistani terrorist incident takes place on Indian soil, it will be answered in the style of 'Operation Sindoor'. The Indian delegations going abroad will also acquaint the governments and people there with this view. At the same time, on the issue of postponement of the Indus Water Treaty by India, these parties will tell the governments of foreign countries that this agreement between India and Pakistan in 1960 was completely dependent on the goodwill between the two countries, but the way Pakistan has used its land to spread terror against India, this goodwill has disappeared. Pakistan's dishonesty is evident as it is aiding terrorists and providing shelter to various terrorist groups.
Pakistan, which unleashed terror in India on November 26, 2008 and killed 166 people, does not want to abide by any agreement with India. In 2004, Pakistan had agreed with India that it would not allow its soil to be used for terrorism against India. This agreement was reached when the then Prime Minister Late A.K. Atal Bihari Vajpayee went to Lahore. It is also known as the Lahore Declaration. Despite this, on November 26, 2008, 166 people were killed in Mumbai by nefarious terrorists from Pakistan. Even after this incident, the then Manmohan Singh government had sent several government delegations abroad to clarify India's stand. At the same time, information about the terrorist camps operating inside Pakistan was given to the whole world, due to which the sword of declaring Pakistan a terrorist state was hanging. The intention of the Modi government is also that the whole world should wake up against Pakistan's terrorist activities and know the truth. But what is the doom that after suffering a setback in Operation Sindoor, Pakistan is honoring its army general Asim Munir with the rank of Field Marshal. This is proof that Pakistan has made terrorist activities in India a part of its foreign policy.
