At 9:17 am, Sensex opened at 81,994 with a gain of 67 points and 0.08 per cent, and Nifty was trading at 25,132 with a gain of 23 points and 0.09 per cent. Let us tell you that the market gained momentum due to buying in IT stocks. The Nifty IT index was trading with a gain of one per cent in the early trade. Nifty Metal, Nifty Media, Nifty Energy, and Nifty Consumption indices were also in the green.
