Stock Market Today 27 Nov: Indian stock market is trading with tremendous momentum today as well. Nifty touched a new peak of 26,285.95 today with a gain of 80.65 points and 0.31 percent, which is its first new peak in 14 months. Sensex also rose sharply in the early trade and reached 85,843.82 points soon after the opening session. Indian stock markets opened higher in the green today, continuing the positive momentum of yesterday.

Nifty 50 opened at 26,261.25, up 55.95 points or 0.21 percent, while the BSE Sensex opened at 85,741.13, up 131.62 points or 0.15 percent. With a strong initial rally, Nifty surpassed its previous record high. Nifty surpassed its previous peak of 26,277.37 achieved in September 2024. Sensex is also very close to its September 2024 all-time high of 85,978.25.
Nifty Hits Record

Indian stock markets have rebounded after a period of volatility, leading to significant gains for investors. Meanwhile, the Nifty index hit a new record high, reaching a new high of 26,295.55. It took 287 sessions for the index to reach this new peak. The Nifty extended its recent gains, strengthening the prevailing bullish trend after a period of consolidation. The Bank Nifty also continued to strengthen, driven by buying interest from lower levels.
Stock Market Rise

Market watchers said the stock market is now finding strong support in the 26,050-26,100 zone, which has consistently acted as a demand zone. On the upside, resistance has gradually shifted towards the 26,300-26,350 band, where selling pressure is expected to emerge and limit the upside in the near term.

Broader market indices saw marginal gains, with the Nifty Midcap index rising 0.16 percent and the Nifty Smallcap index rising 0.07 percent. Among sectors, the Nifty Metal index led the gains, rising 0.5 percent. The Nifty Auto index gained 0.35 percent. The Nifty Bank index also gained 0.4 percent to 59,802.65.
Stock Market FII And DII
Meanwhile, foreign institutional investors (FIIs) continued their buying spree, purchasing equities worth Rs 4,778 crore on November 26, while domestic institutional investors (DIIs) added Rs 6,247 crore during the same session.
