Stock Market Today 14 Nov: Indian stock market opened with a fall in the trading session. At 9:20 am, Sensex was at 84,182 with a fall of 309 points and 0.37 percent. Nifty was at 25,787 with a weakness of 91 points, 0.35 percent. Midcap and small cap are showing strength compared to large cap. Nifty Midcap 100 index was at 60,839 with a rise of 147 points or 0.24 percent and Nifty Small cap 100 index was at 18,212 with a rise of 28 points or 0.16 percent.
Top gainers and loser share today
On a sectoral basis, PSU banks, pharma, media, energy, PSE and healthcare were in the green, while auto, IT, metal, FMCG, realty and infra were in the red. In the Sensex pack, BEL, Eternal (Zomato), Bajaj Finance, Sun Pharma, Axis Bank, Trent, SBI, Adani Ports, Asian Paints and NTPC were the top gainers. Infosys, Tata Steel, Tech Mahindra, HCL Tech, TCS, ICICI Bank, TCS, Maruti Suzuki, HDFC Bank and L&T were the top losers.

Market experts said the market’s focus today will be on the Bihar election results. In the medium to long term, market movement will depend on GDP growth and corporate earnings. Most Asian markets are trading in the red. Tokyo, Shanghai, Bangkok, Hong Kong, and Seoul were in the red, while Jakarta was in the green. US markets closed in the red on Thursday.
FII & DII Trading Today
Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) sold equities worth Rs 383 crore on November 13, while domestic institutional investors (DIIs) continued their strong buying trend and purchased equities worth over Rs 3,000 crore, helping offset the broader market weakness.
