Gold Silver Price Crash Today: Gold and silver prices recently touched historic highs after a sharp rally over the past few days. Gold crossed the ₹1.50 lakh mark, while silver was trading above ₹3.30 lakh. However, prices witnessed a sudden fall today, with market experts linking the decline to developments associated with former US President Donald Trump.
On the MCX, silver prices dropped by as much as ₹20,000 per kilogram, while gold became cheaper by nearly ₹4,000 per 10 grams. The recent surge in precious metal prices was driven by global tensions and political developments, including Trump-related actions, which had pushed investors toward safe-haven assets. Now, easing concerns have triggered profit booking, leading to a sharp correction.
