Gold Prices Surge in Delhi, Silver Declines

Gold prices rose to Rs 38,460 per 10 grams in the Delhi Gold and Silver market on Monday.On that same day, the price of gold with 99.9 percent purity had settled at Rs 78,350 per 10 grams.

On Monday, gold prices increased to Rs 38,460 per 10 grams in the Delhi Gold and Silver market. On Monday, gold with 99.9 percent purity was priced at Rs 78,350 per 10 grams. On Tuesday, gold with 99.5 per cent purity increased by Rs 950 to reach Rs 78,900 per 10 grams, compared to Monday's closing price of Rs 78,900 per 10 grams.

In the latest trade, silver prices dropped by Rs 1,000 to Rs 91,500 per kg, down from the previous close of Rs 92,500 per kg.

On the global market, Comex gold futures dropped by USD 15.50 per ounce, or 0.58%, to USD 2,654.50 an ounce. During Asian trading hours, silver was down 0.99% at USD 30.75 an ounce.
