Gold Prices Surge, Silver Remains Stable in Wedding Season
Gold and Silver Prices: Gold rates have increased, whereas silver remains unchanged. In Chennai, 22-carat gold is priced at Rs 72,250 per 10 grams, and 24-carat gold is available at Rs 70,250 per 10 grams. The wedding season has seen fluctuations.
Gold Prices Increased
There is a fluctuation in the price of gold in the wedding season. While gold prices saw a spurt this week, gold and silver fell on Wednesday due to a weak trend in the global market. New Delhi: Gold prices on Wednesday rose to Rs 150 per 10 grams in the national capital's bullion market amid a weak trend in the international market, while silver prices fell by Rs 500.
Surge in Gold Prices
Today, i.e. on 21 November, the price of 24-carat gold has increased from Rs 75,900 to Rs 76,400 per 10 grams, while the price of 22-carat gold has increased from Rs 70,700 to Rs 71,150 per 10 grams. The price of 18 carat gold has also increased. It has increased from Rs 59,200 to Rs 59,600 per 10 grams.
What is the Price of Silver
Even though the price of gold has increased, there has been no increase in the price of silver today, but its rate remained stable. Even today, silver is being sold at Rs 91,000 per kg. Similarly, the exchange rate of old silver jewellery also held steady at Rs 84,000 per kg.
