The country's largest highway NH-44 has been constructed in one go, it is not so. Actually, it has been made up of 7 major highways of the country. These include NH1A, NH1, NH2, NH3, NH75, NH26, and NH7. The merger of these national highways has created the North-South corridor for the first time in the country. This made public transport easier, as well as the population settled here also benefited economically. NH44 is not only the largest highway in the country, but also the 22nd largest highway in the world. This highway is 4 times more than the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway (1350 km).
