Junior NTR News: Junior NTR has filed petition in Delhi High Court

Junior NTR filed a petition in the Delhi High Court, seeking protection of his personality rights against the unauthorized use of his name, image, likeness, and other attributes of his identity. According to news agency ANI, Justice Manmeet Pritam Singh heard the case.
Senior Advocate J Sai Deepak represented Junior NTR and informed the court that several e-commerce and social media sites were hosting content that infringed upon his rights. He told the court that this material was being used for commercial gain without his consent.
Court granted platforms three days to respond

After hearing submissions, the court directed platforms to treat Junior NTR’s case as a formal complaint under the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021. The companies were given three days to respond.
The court will reconsider the matter on December 22, when a detailed and formal order is expected to be passed. This follows similar cases filed by Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai, Nagarjuna, Anil Kapoor, Abhishek Bachchan, Chiranjeevi, and other celebrities who are fighting against the misuse of their identity.
