However, on the fifth day, the film witnessed a sharp decline of nearly 65% in its box office collections.

It is worth noting that “Border 2” benefited from an extended weekend, which significantly boosted its box office performance. The film saw a strong surge in earnings on Monday, following solid collections on Saturday and Sunday, with Republic Day, a national holiday, further aiding its run. Despite this advantage, the film’s momentum slowed thereafter.
Even so, “Border 2” has nearly reached the ₹200 crore mark nationwide. It was widely expected to emerge as the first blockbuster of 2026, and even seemed poised to make history. However, considering its fifth-day box office performance, that assumption may now need to be reconsidered.
Border 2 Box Office Collection: Day-wise earnings of the film
According to early trend data from SacNilk, “Border 2” earned only ₹19.50 crore at the box office on its first Tuesday, i.e., the fifth day. On Republic Day, its fourth day of release, it saw a jump of 8.26%, earning a net collection of ₹59 crore in India. In terms of total collections, “Border 2” has crossed ₹196.50 crore in just five days. In terms of daily earnings, the film earned ₹30 crore on the first day, ₹36.5 crore on the second day, and ₹54.5 crore on the third day.

According to early trend figures reported by Sacnilk, “Border 2” managed to collect only ₹19.50 crore at the box office on its first Tuesday, which marked the film’s fifth day in theatres. On Republic Day, the film witnessed an 8.26% jump in collections, earning a net ₹59 crore in India on its fourth day.
With this, “Border 2” has amassed a total of ₹196.50 crore within just five days of its release. Looking at its daily performance, the film earned ₹30 crore on day one, ₹36.5 crore on day two, and ₹54.5 crore on day three.
