He also revealed that director Sandeep Reddy Vanga is currently tied up with another project, and shooting for the sequel is not expected to begin until 2027. Ranbir himself is balancing multiple major projects, including Ramayana and Love and War, which is contributing to the delay in filming the sequel.
Animal Park Update: The film will be made in three parts
In an interview, Ranbir talked about the timeline of the upcoming sequel, saying, “The director is currently developing the second film. We’re supposed to start that film in 2027, there’s still some time.” When asked if the script is already ready, the actor said, “He (Reddy Vanga) has just told me a little bit about what he wants to do with the film. He wants to make it in three parts, the second part is called Animal Park.”

Later, when Ranbir was asked about his role, he said, “It’s very exciting because I get to play two characters: a villain and a hero. So, it’s a very exciting project, and the director is very original, and I’m very happy to be a part of it.”
