Following the massive box office success of Animal, the team is now gearing up to begin shooting for its sequel, tentatively titled ‘Animal Park’ or ‘Animal 2.’
In an exclusive interview with Zoom, Saloni confirmed her involvement in the sequel. The actress, fondly known as “Soni,” also opened up about the challenges she has faced as an outsider in the industry, admitting that making a mark in showbiz can be extremely tough for newcomers.

Saloni Batra talked about the struggles outsiders face in the film industry. She said, “It’s been a journey full of learning. Things haven’t been easy or straightforward. I think life is like that for everyone. Since I don’t come from a film background, I’ve faced my own challenges, and sometimes they can be really intimidating. But I’ve learned a lot along the way.”
She added, “I’m grateful for this journey because it has taught me so much. When I first came to Mumbai, I discovered my passion. I didn’t even plan on becoming an actor—I come from a design background. Even now, I remember how it felt on my first day in front of the camera. I want to keep moving forward, no matter what life throws at me. It’s tough and mentally exhausting, but I’m determined.”

When asked about her involvement in Animal 2, Saloni Batra confirmed that she is indeed a part of the Ranbir Kapoor–led film. She said, “Yes, I’ll be seen in Animal 2. Audiences really loved Animal, which is why the makers want to continue creating films like this filled with entertainment and action. It works well for the box office and is beneficial for actors too.”
