Vaishali Hostel Murder: This suspicious death of a child happened in a private hostel in Vaishali district, Bihar, causing sensation around the area. The deceased student has been identified as Arjun Thakur, a 7-year-old son of Ramashankar Thakur, who resides at Syed Mataiya alias Kalyanpur, Belsar OP Police Station. He had been studying in the hostel for past six months. His mother had passed away, he has a married sister at home, and his father was educating his son by working as a labourer.
After receiving information about incident, a police team arrived at the scene and began investigating. During the incident, angry residents clashed with police, prompting a larger police force to be deployed.
According to information, marks of a sharp weapon were found on the child’s neck. DSP Gopal Mandal stated that this appears to be a case of slitting the throat. A forensic team has been called in-to investigate, and CCTV footage from the hostel is also being examined.
Bihar Crime News: Four people are in police custody
Following the incident, police took action and detained four people, including a woman. These include coaching operator Sunny, Satyam, a teacher, and a female warden. Police are interrogating the individuals who are detained and body was handed over to family after a post-mortem.
Vaishali Hostel Murder: Panic among hostel students
Niketan Coaching hostel prepares students for competitive exams like Navodaya and Netarhat. This incident has caused an atmosphere of fear and panic among the students. In total 33 students lives in the hostel, including 30 boys and 3 girls. After receiving information, about the incident, police administration informed all parents to immediately take back their children to home.
Some students lived far away, so their parents were unable to reach the scene. They were escorted to the police station, where they were then taken home. Students reported feeling very scared and frightened after the incident. Police are investigating the matter and questioning the hostel management.
