Muzaffarpur Short Circuit News: Five members of same family were burnt alive, due to sudden outbreak of massive fire caused by electric short circuit in ward 13 of Motipur police station near Muzaffarpur district, Bihar.

This incident shattered the locals by killing five members of a family through severe burns and few suffered burns in a fire Ward No. 13 of Motipur Bazar. The injured were admitted to Sri Krishna Medical college Hospital (SKMCH) for treatment, where one was said to be in critical conditions.

The incident took place when everyone was asleep. This sudden outbreak prevented members to escape. The locals rushed to help immediately after seeing the flames, but controlling fire flames was extremely difficult. The entire neighbourhood is in shock and grief due to this incident. Lallan Shah’s family was completely affected by incident and five members, including husband and wife, their two children, has died in the fire. whereas, lakbabu prasad Kumar (55), Sakshi Kumari (14), Pushpa Kumari (48), and mala Devi (42), are being treated in the burn ward of SKMCH medical college.

Police and administrative officials immediately at the spot after receiving information and started rescue operation and further investigation. Suchitra Kumar stated to SDPO West that, five people have been confirmed to be dead in the fire flames, whereas, four others are still suffering from burns.

The preliminary phase of investigation suggested that cause of this incident is likely to be short circuit. A detailed investigation is underway, whereas, entire tragic incident has created an atmosphere of deep sensation and morning in that area.
