Bihar Assembly Elections: An Approximate of 14.55% voters turnout was recorded till today, 9 AM for the second phase of Bihar Assembly Elections. Voting for the second phase was started at 7 AM across 122 crucial constituencies in 20 districts and will continue until 5 PM. Full preparations were made ahead of the decisive round, where a larger number of 3.7 crore electorate voters will determine the political future of 1,302 candidates, that includes 136 women and one third gender candidate.

The second phase of Bihar election 2025 is more important to the Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s cabinet, as this includes 12 ministers from his government in the race. Among the JD(U) candidates are Vijendra Yadav (Supaul), Lesi Singh (Dhamdaha), Jayant Kushwaha (Amarpur), Sumit Singh (Chakai), Mohammad Jama Khan (Chainpur), and Sheela Mandal (Phoolparas).
Minters from the BJP party who are in the race includes Prem Kumar (Gaya), Renu Devi (Bettiah), Vijay Kumar Mandal (Sikati), Nitish Mishra (Jhanjharpur), Neeraj Bablu (Chhatapur), and Krishnanandan Paswan (Harsiddhi).
Bihar Assembly Elections: Highest Early Voter Turnout from Gaya

The first two hours of voting showed a an uneven intensity of participation across 20 polling districts. Whereas, Gaya district leaded the charge in recording the highest turnout of 15.97% with Kishanganj (15.81%) and Jamui (15.77%) close behind. The Madhubani district recorded the lowest turnout of 13.25% among all states.
Bihar Records 14.55% Voters Turnout by 9:00 AM, Outpacing Phase 1 of elections

The second Phase of the Bihar Assembly Elections shows that the polls have got a robust start, and is recording a healthy number of 14.55% voters who turned-out till 9 AM. According to the data released by the Election Commission of India, this early participation and healthy number of 13.13% voters turned out during the first phase of the elections also and at the same time.
